LASIK/Refractive Surgery
There are multiple refractive surgery techniques currently available for myopia, astigmatism, and hyperopia. We perform laser refractive surgery including LASIK (laser assisted in-situ-keratomileusis) and PRK (photorefractive keratectomy). We are able to provide these surgeries locally, so our patients do not need to go out of town. Affordable financing is available.
Incisional surgery in the cornea with AK (astigmatic keratotomy) or LRIs (limbal relaxing incisions) are used in some situations as an alternative to laser to reduce astigmatism.
