BAY EYE CLINIC Physicians and Surgeons

Refraction Fee

Medicare and many private insurance companies do not cover and will not pay for the refraction portion of your exam (typically $25). If a refraction is performed as part of your visit, you will be responsible for payment.  Certain vision insurance plans may pay for the refraction.
